It may seem like an odd idea but some common software problems can be solved over your broadband Internet connection via a remote support session.
How Does It Work?
Basically, you give us a call or an email to arrange a suitable time for the session. We then either email you a link to login with the details we provide or tell you a unique code over the phone and we can then remotely take over your system. We will then call youu back just before the session is scheduled to begin on either a landline or a mobile to talk you through anything necessary. This allows us to perform repairs to certain common software faults and even basic hardware diagnostics.
You are in full control of the session and can terminate it at any time. You can sit and watch us do our thing or you can go and make yourself a cup of tea and we will call you again to let you know when we are finished?
You may be required at certain times, in case we need to restart the PC or require further information so dont go too far and please stay near the phone.
What Can You Help With Via Remote Support?
Email Problems & Setup – Problems with Outlook, Outlook Express or Windows Mail. As long as you know all your email addresses and passwords we can help troubleshoot and set up most email programs.
General Software, Updates, Uninstallation & Clean Up – Have a lot of programs loading when your computer starts or old software you no longer need? It can be scary sometimes to know what you can and can’t safely remove, but we can use our years of experience to help give your programs a good spring clean.
Software & Computer Tuition – If you are stuck with a certain task or just want something explained we can use a remote support session to help. We are both able to use the keyboard and mouse during these sessions so it is very easy to show and then watch you perform tasks you are unsure of.
How Much Does It Cost?
All remote sessions follow our general pricing structure, a £25 connection fee and £12.50 per 30 minutes after that. You will be billed via email after the session has finished.
